EDmund fitzgerald  $100!   SOLD!

Picture
I have always been intrigued by the famous freighter, the Edmund Fitzgerald.  I have always been a Gordon Lightfoot fan, too and so I must have head the song a hundred times and it still remains a favorite. My son and I took a ride to Whitefish Bay and the museum that has items from the ship.  I wanted to paint the freighter and was very pleased with the results.  I am so grateful that the person who bought the painting is a grandson of the captain of the Fitzgerald who retired just 2 years before the Gales of November.  The grandfather knew all the members of the ship and it must have been a startling thought that it could have been him in charge on that night if he had not retired.  This painting is now in the right hands of the grandson!
